[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1494344] [NEW] fglrx does not work after update to 15.200
Public bug reported: I was using flgrx-updates (13.350) and all was working well. After recent update to 15.200 all processes normally using GPU started to consume a lot of CPU or basically did not work at all (e.g. watching youtube full screen and pressing play/pause/play would hang computer for ~20 sec). Returned to open source ATI drivers and it is working fine. Any debugging information I shall provide? Using: 3.13.0-63 generic SMP 64 bit 14.04.3 LTS ATI HD 7750 ** Affects: fglrx-installer-updates (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: I was using flgrx-updates (13.350) and all was working well. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 868358] Re: Hibernate hotkey (fn + ...) triggers suspend to ram
I can confirm this on 15.04 and T420. Initially both sleep and hibernate buttons sent computer to sleep. Changing suspend value in org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power did not change anything. Changing sleep value to hibernate made both buttons to send to hibernate. Evtest shows that sleep button is sleep, and hibernate button is suspend. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/868358 Title: Hibernate hotkey (fn + ...) triggers suspend to ram Status in gnome-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: System suspends when pressing the key with the hibernate icon. I upgraded straight from maverick to natty to oneiric beta without testing hibernate in natty, but it definitely worked in maverick. Hibernate works when selected from the menu.
