[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1283634] [NEW] Text for selected applications in Ubuntu Software Center on Ubuntu Gnome is difficult to read

2014-02-22 Thread Gabriel Diosan
Public bug reported:

When selecting an application in Ubuntu Software Center running on
Ubuntu Gnome 14.04, the text is white. This makes it very difficult to
read. The text should change to a darker colour. Not sure if the bug
should be placed against Ubuntu Software Center or another component but

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 400008]

2013-02-15 Thread Gabriel Diosan
I have thrown some money at the bounty too. Looks like a good idea.
Would be good if the recent documents menu only show documents specific
for each component? For example, recent Writer documents only when
accessing the Open Document from within Writer and Calc documents only
when accessing the Open Document from within Calc? Just a thought.

  Gedit has this feature and it is quicker than the awkward 'S' you have
  to traverse with the cursor when selecting File > Recent Documents >

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1027043] Re: soffice.bin crashed with SIGSEGV in std::list >::remove()

2012-07-26 Thread Gabriel Diosan
The crash usually shows itself in Impress. It seems to happen less often
in the other components.

To reproduce the crash I do the following:

1. Start Libreoffice Impress;
2. Make some changes and close Impress;
3. Click on Discard changes.

The crash does not happen every time. It usually happens 1 in every 10
or so times that you repeat this sequence.

Title:
  libreoffice menu buttons are not visible when clicked in Lubuntu 11.10

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I installed Libreoffice and the package Libreoffice-gtk in Lubuntu
  11.10 beta. When starting any of the Libreoffice programs and clicking
  on the top menu buttons, the text disappears and all you see is white.
  The text in the actual menu itself appears fine but the top text (e.g
  File, Edit, View, Insert ect) is not visible. I have attached a
  screenshot as it is a bit hard to describe.

  It looks like a bug in Libreoffice-gtk but I am not 100% sure.
