[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1771757] [NEW] Ubuntu doesn't detect device on USB 3.1 Gen 2 port
Public bug reported: Ubuntu does't detect the device when I plug a USB Flash drive onto the USB 3.1 Gen 2 port on my motherboard. I can't find the device in lsusb output. If I reboot the system with the drive plugged, I can mount the drive in file manager. If I unplug and plug it again, Ubuntu doesn't detect the device. My motherboard is ASUS ROG STRIX B360-G. Tried stock bionic and latest v4.16/v4.17 mainline kernels. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1180476] [NEW] weird proxy issue in firefox 21
Public bug reported: I usually use ssh -d sock5 proxy to visit some GFWed websites. After updating to 21 from 20, proxy doesn't work anymore. At first, I thought it was the add-on handling proxy, but after deleting ~/.mozilla and reinstall firefox, I still got no luck with a fresh installation. The problem is I can't visit those GFWed website with sock5 proxy enabled, not even after I setting up a global vpn. Chromium works fine, so it's not my proxy or vpn setting.
