[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1431371] Re: Left Alt + is not passed to irssi in terminal when in GUI
I highly appreciate the swift comment, and wonder why Google were unable to locate the bug entry in Gnome's bugzilla. Workaround by disabling the gnome-terminal shortcuts works very well for me, as I never use tabs in gnome-terminal. It is however a regression from previous behavior, unsure about how this bug should be marked and handled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1431371 Title: Left Alt + is not passed to irssi in terminal when in GUI Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Running Ubuntu Vivid Vervet (development branch) last updated 2015-03-12 14:45 1) Log onto system in graphical mode. 2) Start a terminal, for me gnome-terminal. 3) Start irssi. 4) Make several windows in irssi. 5) Try to use left Alt + window number to change window. Expected to be able to change between windows, outcome is that no action is performed. This has worked fine through all previous Ubuntu releases. It also works fine if I change to text console (Ctrl + Alt + F1) and do the same steps. Any pointers in how to debug this further?
