Title:
Scrollbars are tiny in Firefox (since FF 52)

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
== Update 2018-02-27: While this report was created for Firefox 52
under Ubuntu 16.10, it is still valid for all newer Firefox
  version/Ubuntu releases. ==

In Firefox 52, the size of scrollbars has become smaller so that it is
really tiny and hard to grab by the mouse. For me, this is a usability
  issue.

The scrollbars were considerably bigger in Firefox 51 and previous
releases. To illustrate this, I have attached two screeenshots for
comparision between Firefox 51 and 52.

While other GTK3-applications (e.g. Gedit) also have very slim
scrollbars, they on the other hand have a mechanismn that makes their
scrollbars broaden automatically when you move the mouse over them, so
grabbing them isn't an issue. If the same would be possible in
Firefox, this would of course be also an acceptable resolution.

  Kind regards,
  Jan

Xorg never crashes due to segfaults.

  4) What happened instead

  Xorg crashes due to segfaults.

I have recently seen an increase in unexpected X crashes while using
my machine, sending me back to the login screen and losing the state
  of my open applications.

I use a ThinkPad T540p with Intel graphics and Ubuntu 15.10 (upgraded
from 15.04). I use Xrandr to configure and position my external and
internal displays, including the use of the --panning/--scale/--dpi
options to help my external display behave more like my internal HiDPI
display (in case that's relevant to this problem).

I heavily use PhpStorm, a JetBrains IDE from their IDEA family built
in Java. The last two times this crash has happened to me (Friday and
today), I was interacting with the IDE at the time. I saved a copy of
Xorg.0.log.old both times and will attempt to attach both to this
report (their backtraces differ a bit). During the first crash I
believe I was simply interacting with the UI in some way; During the
second crash, I had just clicked the window decoration's

2011-11-11 Thread Igor Wojnicki
Same here. I've got a feeling that the bug emerged after the last flash
plugin update. The plugin container can be terminated via kill though.
