[Desktop-packages] [Bug 2049117] Re: [HP ProBook 440 G8 Notebook PC, Realtek ALC236, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all From google Chrome youtube after putting computer to sleep

2024-01-29 Thread Jānis Kangarooo
** Description changed:

  [HP ProBook 440 G8 Notebook PC, Realtek ALC236, Speaker, Internal] No sound
at all From google Chrome youtube after putting computer to sleep
  From testing sound came but not from google chrome
  ---=== Update ===---
  False alarm. Sound i was able to put back on, turn out i dont remember i
turned off sound on Chrome in task menu of Kubuntu. Icon shows sound playing
and when clicking sound speaker icon in taskbar of chrome then it shows very
thin line that sound is turned mute off.
  === Suggestion ===
  Since i dont remember i turned it off or dont see big difference or red icon
that sound is off then i dont know its off.
  NEED different icon (size, more contrast, red color, round red X sign) so i
can see warning that sound is off. image attached how hard it is to see any
difference from speaker icon when turned off
+ === Suggestion 2 ===
+ I just accidentally again clicked on it because it appears on all open
windows. Can it not be only one one window of chrome where it playing?
+

at all From google Chrome youtube after putting computer to sleep
  From testing sound came but not from google chrome
  ---=== Update ===---
  False alarm. Sound i was able to put back on, turn out i dont remember i
turned off sound on Chrome in task menu of Kubuntu. Icon shows sound playing
and when clicking sound speaker icon in taskbar of chrome then it shows very
thin line that sound is turned mute off.
  === Suggestion ===
  Make different icon so i can see warning that sound is off. image attached
how hard it is to see any difference from speaker icon when turned off

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1973470] Re: Ubuntu-bug command can't find Firefox on Lubuntu Kinetic

2023-01-06 Thread Jānis Kangarooo
@guiverc i just tried latest iso lubuntu-22.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso and reported
Bug 2002120 that now is a duplicate of this. So its not fixed.
My bug is about Apport. Is this about ubuntu-bug? So then mine is not
duplicate, or why its the same package?
Ubuntu-bug doesnt work for me at all because of Bug #2002119

  While reporting Bug #1973469, I discovered that ubuntu-bug was unable
  to open Firefox at the very end of the process. Sadly, I closed the
  terminal window that contained the initial error, but I was able to
  easily reproduce it reporting this bug. The full console output of
  "ubuntu-bug apport" on Lubuntu Kinetic is:

  I am unsure if this problem is in Apport or Lubuntu. ubuntu-bug works
  just fine for me on Ubuntu Kinetic, but not on Lubuntu. I suspect this
  is due to the Snap version of Firefox, but I don't know for sure.
  Since ubuntu-bug is what gave me the error, I'm filing this against
  Apport.
