*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1672297 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1672297 ** Also affects: gnome-shell Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1731071 Title: Gnome shell huge memory usage Status in GNOME Shell: New Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have no idea why, but after half a day or so of usage, gnome-shell uses 1.4 GB of memory. I have never seen an OS where the shell is so "hungry", there seem to be lots of memory leaks. Good the system has 12 GB of RAM, otherwise I would have lots of swap. Unity never did not do things like this, I really hope there will be a fix soon. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 397574]
Still exists in Thunderbird 14 beta (downloaded 2012-06-21). The bug occurs both when switch from classic to vertical layout and vice versa. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to thunderbird in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397574 Title: Encoding problems after switching the layout Status in Mozilla Thunderbird Mail and News: Confirmed Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: thunderbird steps to reproduce: - View - Layout - Classic View - View - Layout - enable Message Pane - select a message in which you can see special characters (e.g. ö,ä,ü...) - switch the layout, e.g. View - Layout - Wide View now you can see, that the special characters are displayed wrong (e.g. ö instead of ö) If you select another mail and select this mail again, the characters are displayed without problems! I think there is a problem with the encoding after switching the layout Regards scamp ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: mozilla-thunderbird 2.0.0.21+nobinonly-0ubuntu1.9.04.1 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: thunderbird Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/397574/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
