Sorry, forgot to mention, this is on a brand new install of Ubuntu
18.04.  Using I3 as window manager.

Bug description:
  Trying to install "Visual Studio Code" get a dialog to Authenticate:
  "To continue you need to sign in to Snap Store."  I have tried an old
  login, reset passsword, no luck.  Registered new user, same deal.

Trying to install "Visual Studio Code" get a dialog to Authenticate:
"To continue you need to sign in to Snap Store."  I have tried an old
login, reset passsword, no luck.  Registered new user, same deal.
