[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1057480] Re: libreoffice fails to recognize java installations
I have both open java and oracle java installed. I want to use openjava 1.6 but it only sees oracle -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1057480 Title: libreoffice fails to recognize java installations Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Libreoffice cannot see the various java installations on my computer If I manually enter a path, like /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk- amd64/jre, the attempt fails with the message the folder you have selected does not contain a java runtime environment. This cripples my installation, since it means I can't use the Zotero extension for citation, so all of my old papers are inaccessible. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 874031] Re: icon is replaced by a question mark
In my case, the *.desktop file located in ~/.local/share/applications had an error in the ICON= string. It said 'libreoffice-writer.png' instead of 'libreoffice34-writer.png.' Not sure what created that local file, but whatever it is might be the root cause. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874031 Title: icon is replaced by a question mark Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: icon is replaced by a question mark. same for the dash. relocation does not change.
