It is certainly frustrating. I had expected independent workspace

On a Dell XPS 13 laptop, Power Statistics does show the AC adapter and
Laptop battery status, but the Processor statistics has the same error
as above:

Processor wakeups per second:
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.UPower.GeneralError: cannot enable
timerstats
