[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1411290] Re: Firefox 35 does not restore previous session / tabs
First I thought it was a problem with the Firefox build from the Mozilla Security PPA but now I have the same problem with the build from the official repo as well. Next guess was profile-sync-daemon but after removing it Firefox still doesn't restore tabs. Disabling all add-ons and extensions also didn't solve the issue for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1411290 Title: Firefox 35 does not restore previous session / tabs Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: On trusty I updated firefox to 35.0+build3-0ubuntu0.14.04.2 After the update firefox no longer restored my previous session, it starts with a single blank tab. Also on the "New tab" window all tiles are empty. I gave a look to the sessionstore.js file and firefox isn't touching when closing. I tested with two different profiles and the same happened for both. Reverting to 34.0+build2-0ubuntu0.14.04.1 got session store working again. This is a regression from libreoffice 3.5 in 12.04 (tested with 1:3.5.4-0ubuntu1) To reproduce: 1) Open the attached spreadsheet, which contains 1 cell with ~4k characters in it Expected results: Spreadsheet opens quickly (<2sec on my 2.4Ghz Core2Duo w/ SSD) Actual results: Libreoffice splash screen shows, libreoffice window is displayed as a gray rectangle with no content, and libreoffice window then becomes unresponsive. CPU usage is at 100% on one core. The system stays in this state for ~30sec. The document eventually opens and libreoffice functions normally. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1124297] Re: Mouse and touch input devices can't be configured seperately
Sure thing that you don't have the time to deal with every minor issue instantly. But isn't setting this bug to "Won't fix" telling other people that they shouldn't have any hope that it ever will get fixed a little bit to much? (I'm not too familiar with the guidelines how to bug statuses) It sounds like "bad/stupid/unworthy idea" that never will be considered. Wouldn't be "Opinion" more appropriate? Just my 2 cents worth. This means that if I want to navigate to another location in the scondary panel I have to click somewhere on the navigation area of the inactive panel first and only then can I click on the breadcrumb buttons. Steps to repdroduce: 1) Open a second panel (F3) 2) Click on a breadcrumb navigation button on the newly opened (and inactive) panel Expected results: - The contents of the inactive panel's navigation area change to reflect the new location and the clicked panel becomes active Actual results: - The breadcrumb buttons don't respond to clicks and thus the panel continues to be inactive and its location remains the same ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: nautilus 1:3.2.0-0ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.20-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic i686 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu3 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Oct 30 19:06:06 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release i386 (20111012) SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/883942/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
