[Desktop-packages] [Bug 896707] Re: Nautlius does not support WebP thumbnail previews?
I dont see duplication between these bugs. Is this a typo? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to shared-mime-info in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/896707 Title: Nautlius does not support WebP thumbnail previews? Status in shared MIME database: Invalid Status in “shared-mime-info” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I was trying to use Google's WebP image format and installed both libwebp and libwebp-dev. Nautlius doesn't support this filetype for showing thumbnails? Now it says that these files are 'RIFF-audio' filetypes. Bastien Nocera posted the following here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41155 See http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xdg/shared-mime-info/tree/HACKING#n31 for how to make requests about adding new formats. But I don't know how that should be done? Thanks!
