Title:
Nautlius does not support WebP thumbnail previews?

Status in shared MIME database:
  Invalid
Status in “shared-mime-info” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I was trying to use Google's WebP image format and installed both libwebp and
  libwebp-dev.

Nautlius doesn't support this filetype for showing thumbnails? Now it says
that
  these files are 'RIFF-audio' filetypes.

Bastien Nocera posted the following here:
  https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41155

   See http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xdg/shared-mime-info/tree/HACKING#n31 for
how
to make requests about adding new formats.

But I don't know how that should be done?

  Thanks!

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1167859] [NEW] dated libreoffice package in new build

2013-04-11 Thread Justin Jovic
Public bug reported:

Currently the 4.0.1 libreoffice package is part of the daily ubuntu
builds. The package is at 4.0.2 fixing many bugs in the previous
version. This should be synced before the 13.04 freeze so Ubuntu doesnt
release with an outdated Liberoffice version.

** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1163639] [NEW] Dragging item from trash restores it to its original location

2013-04-02 Thread Justin Jovic
Public bug reported:

If you have an item in downloads, then send it to trash. Open trash and
drag the item to your desktop. Correct behavior would be to restore to
the desktop. Nautilus restores to the original location it was trashed
(ie downloads folder in this example)

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
