[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1256569] [NEW] EMU 0202 volume control not working

2013-11-30 Thread Kristiyan Kanchev
Public bug reported:

Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 and I have EMU 0202 USB audio interface.
Everything is working correctly except that I can't change the master
volume. I've tried to lower the output volume from gnome control center
and alsamixer, but both have absolutely no effect on the output volume.
However, muting is working ok.

The built-in Intel audio interface is working without such problems.

** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1110303] Re: gnome-control-center crashes for audio controls

2013-04-26 Thread Kristiyan Kanchev
I have absolutely the same problem updating from 12.10 to 13.04
yesterday. After the update when I try to access the System Settings ->
Sound the windows crashes and dmesg gives:

kernel: [ 101.174326] gnome-control-c[2351]: segfault at 7fff94739f28
ip 7f79123788ca sp 7fff94739f30 error 6 in
libc-2.17.so[7f791232f000+1be000]

Although, it won't open the System Settings -> Sound playback in every
applications is normal and pavucontrol also works. Anyway I can't change
the default device now. With 12.10 there were no problems.

My devices are:

I've also tried
sudo apt-get install --reinstall gnome-control-center*

then rebooted but nothing changed.
