Using the mouse to select the top edge or using the right-click, rezise, move method on the bottom edge still produce the right behavior. This happens in all applications that use resizable windows. I'm reproducing this bug with the default unity on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS I have attached a video demonstrating the bug. I am having the same issue but it does the same thing even without using the keyboard to resize the window. Nothing I do seems to have an effect.
