I have got this bug when upgrading from Ubuntu 17.04 to 17.10. The
upgrade process stops, and the popup with info dependency problems -
leaving triggers unprocessed cannot be closed.

  2) Try to drag and drop  symlink  to the custom bookmarks pad.
  3) While dragging and having mouse on the boomarks area, label "New 
bookmarks" is displayed, but  after dropping the bookmark to symlink is not 
added to bookmark area

  However, it is possible to add bookmark to symlink via menu bar or
  Ctrl+D.
