[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1295627] Re: Wrong language (German) after fresh install

2018-09-18 Thread OliWare
Lol, 'this is not a bug'. The installer clearly guesses wrong, only 1%
in Brussels speaks German. I want my installation in English but with
the Belgian locale.

Title:
  NetworkManager doesn't accept 802.1x password

Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Our wired connection needs to be authenticated with a certificate.
Therefor we need to provide a CRT & KEY to authenticate.

  With 16.04 this worked flawlessly.

With 18.04, when we setup a connection via the gui and enter the key it says
the key is not passphrase protected, although it is.
We cannot add the connection because of this.

I can add the connection with a very long nmcli command, but this is
  not easy for the endusers.

  Is this a bug?

  Version of network-manager in 18.04 is "1.10.6-2ubuntu1", in 16.04
  this is "1.2.6-0ubuntu0.16.04.2"

Ubuntu 13.10 random screen freeze while Normal OS activites

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I have recently, re-installed fresh ubuntu 13.10 distribution release.
But everything worked fine. until recently i had strange problem of my
display screen getting freezed randomly; but no response to either
mouse/keyboard.
But i want to point it out; it happens randomly and is not specific ?
Other day, i had music player playing in background, but screen freezed. but
my music was still running.
Kindly note, i used multiple monitor setup and same issue of screen freeze
also cropped up.

I,am not sure, whether it is bug ?

  thanks for the expertise support.
