Status in esound package in Ubuntu:

Status in esound source package in Lucid:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: esound

The move from libesd-alsa0 from main to universe may cause a upgrade
  issue:

  libesd-alsa0 | 0.2.38-0ubuntu9 | hardy | amd64, i386
  libesd-alsa0 | 0.2.41-6ubuntu1 | lucid/universe | all

The problem is that in hardy there are rather many libesd-alsa0 rdepends and
apt will refuse to upgrade when universe is not enabled because it would mean
  to remove libesd-alsa0.

Bug description:
Firefox crashes when a user selects "Set as wallpaper" from the rick-click
  context menu over an image.

A dialogue appears which allows you to set wallpaper properties, and when
'Okay'
is pressed, Firefox crashes. No useful messages appear to be output to the
console (though I'm running only the standard firefox script from
  /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/firefox)

Whenever I sync my 2nd generation ipod nano using banshee the sync
seems to work fine but then when I play anything in the ipod it
  reboots. rhythmbox works fine.

I'm using gutsy will all the latest updates. Something like this
already happened with feisty. Usually it would hang when flushing to
disk and then the ipod would just skip over the songs and not play
  them.

Rhythmbox is working fine, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the

Bug description:

Nautilus integrated search (CTRL+F) does not return any result without
tracker indexes. I don't need an indexing daemon running all the time so I
disabled trackerd in "System -> Preferences -> Session" and disabled indexing
in "System -> Preferences -> Indexing Preferences".
But, every time I try to search through nautilus, trackerd is spawned
automatically and I have no results at all.
Searching through "Places -> Search file" works as usual.
In my opinion nautilus should fall back to the classic (without tracker)
search if trackerd is not installed or disabled.

  libsoftokn also links with.

Running checkdll manually I found removing
  "-L/tmp/openoffice.org-1.1.3/solver/645/unxlngi4.pro/lib" allowed for a
  successful check.

libsoftokn is part of mozilla so perhaps there is a clash with the openoffice
version of the mozilla libraries in
  /tmp/openoffice.org-1.1.3/solver/645/unxlngi4.pro/lib, e.g. libnspr4.so, which
  libsoftokn also links with.

Removing asserts in the channel code that were being called in response to
unexpected bytes in the packet. Instead, we will return error to the SM and
restart the connection.

commit b7e1392ccbdd3e898850161fe22ed5dbc3c4d34f
Author: Naveen N

* If there are more than 3 ecmp instance in same compute node and
transition happens from non-ecmp to ecmp either due to active-active
flag change or delay in instance-ip link being processed in oper DB,
then when the first instance path change is being processed, there
would already be 3 path, and logic expects ecmp peer path to be
already present in that case, hence assert.
Changed to login to count path with ecmp flag set only.
Added a test case for the same, earlier test case used to verify
only ecmp transition when there are 2 service instance.
