What about evince 3.10.3 in Ubuntu 14.04 ? I managed to adapt the patch to it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1506967 Title: display page labels in find sidebar Status in evince package in Ubuntu: Fix Committed Bug description: Evince uses the page numbers of the pdf when displaying search results in the find sidebar. If one has a document with a more complex structure, such as different page ranges for frontmatter in roman and mainmatter in arabic, one wants to use the page labels instead. I've reported this to upstream, https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=756683 , and a patch has been proposed, this patch is for the evince master branch though, and my attempt at adapting it to 3.10.3 did not succeed.
