[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1225752] [NEW] Screensaver activates when watching youtube / flash video

2013-09-15 Thread Rajeev Nair
Public bug reported:

Hi

Why does the screensaver activate when watching a flash video online in
the browser? Pardon my language, but how dumb can the system be to not
understand that some activity is going on ?

Works fine on windows, why do i need to disable screensaver on Ubuntu
to peacefully watch some online videos?

2013-09-15 Thread Rajeev Nair
I will refile this bug under gnome - screensaver probably. This
behaviour is stupid anyway. Whether you like to blame flash or not.
Your distaste for flash is quite apparent here.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 923385] [NEW] Firefox wont scroll down with mouse gestures

2012-01-29 Thread Rajeev Nair
Public bug reported:

Hi

Iam not sure if i worded this correct., basically normal firefox
behaviour is to scroll down when you click and move the mouse towards
you. this does not happen in ubuntu, or stopped happening with this

This makes it extremely difficult or impossible rather to copy a section
of text from a webpage or any document, it does scroll up however..
