Title:
libreoffice image insert dialog does not show thumb drives

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Because of the move to a snap, when one opens the file dialog
usb/thumb drives are not shown. For a File->Open you can navigate to
/media/user-name/thumb-drive if and only if you personally have
mounted the thumb. For those of us writing documentation using screen
shots taken on many different systems but all on the same thumb drive
  this is a real hassle.

Prior to Snap packaging this worked.

I suspect this is a nasty bug in Snap.
