[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1307648] Re: chromium 34 from proposed does not take input from keyboard in first entry point on several webpages
kill all IBUS commands with "Tast Manager" or "System Monitor" all problems all most go away, typing does become slower i think -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1307648 Title: chromium 34 from proposed does not take input from keyboard in first entry point on several webpages Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: To reproduce install chromium 34 from proposed with pepperflash. And find a site that you input some text into like indeed.com or some others. Then you hit the keys on the keyboard but no text is seen onscreen. I expected the text to be entering into chroumium like it is on any other browser. And for the text to be entered into the browser and transfered ot the webpage I am submitting it to. Instead it did not show up and indeed.com thought I did not enter anything even though I pressed several keys on my keyboard. I got slow speeds after entering the fix for "Wifi cutting out" so I then entered the following codes to fix "the slow speeds" $ sudo rmmod -f iwlagn $ sudo modprobe iwlagn 11n_disable=1 $ sudo su # echo "options iwlagn 11n_disable=1" >> /etc/modprobe.d/iwlagn- disable11n.conf $ sudo su # echo "#disable ipv6" >> /etc/sysctl.conf # echo "net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1" >> /etc/sysctl.conf # echo "net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1" >> /etc/sysctl.conf # echo "net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1" >> /etc/sysctl.conf enter the codes above to fix the slow speeds -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1214588 Title: Wifi stops working after a while Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After a while - sometimes a few hours, sometimes a day - NetworkManager disconnects from Wifi and fails to reconnect.
