[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1634614] [NEW] CPU usage spikes and mouse flicker

2016-10-18 Thread Tejeev
Public bug reported:

I am experiencing cpu usage spikes with xorg where everything will lag
for about a second. Seems to happen every minute or few.

Other possibly related symptoms:
Seeing flickering of the mouse pointer when it's over certain interactive
fields or just at the top of my laptop monitor.
Experiencing screen tearing in a diagonal line across second monitor
When I set up the second monitor, backgrounds fail to display. Changing
background fixes.
Sometimes the second monitor just starts flicking off and on.

Setup:
Just upgraded from 16.04 to 16.10 (didn't see any of this on previous version)
Using a second monitor connected via display port
USB mouse and keyboard connected.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 372389] Re: copy filter broken resulting in empty email from 01.01.1970

2018-01-10 Thread Tejeev Patel
Years later I'm experiencing the exact same bug.
Thunderbird 52.5.0
Ubuntu 16.04

Title:
copy filter broken resulting in empty email from 01.01.1970

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

To reproduce the problem 2 filters are needed,
  example:

1: if 'to or cc' contains 'my_add...@test.net' copy to 'directory_1'
2: if 'subject' contains 'test_123' move to 'directory_test'

with such filter when the email is received which match both filters
the email correctly appears in 'directory_test' but in 'directory_1'
where should be copied at the begining instead of original one is only
  empty email with date 01/01/1970

I saw some similar bugs reported about 2007 but using latest
Thunderbird I have the same issue,

  Cheers,
  Goral,

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1806080] [NEW] [snap] Chromium snap crashes when trying to access fs

2018-11-30 Thread Tejeev Patel
Public bug reported:

When I attempt to upload or save on certain pages it crashes the browser. Some
examples below.
Does not happen on Google Drive. Looks like it's trying to query the fs and
dies when it can't.
