[Desktop-packages] [Bug 908641] Re: Evolution search problem
It seems the search was triggered by unintended right click (the famous laptop special) changing the e-mail label setting. Returning the label setting to 'none' restored the normal view of the folder. But being able to cancel the search operation should be more clear. Maybe if a search is triggered by a label setting change, it should be reversible through an auto link to the panel pull down menu 'Search > Clear' -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/908641 Title: Evolution search problem Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu 11.10 Evolution won't cancel search: message says 'no messages contain search criteria - clear or change the search criteria' but clearing does not work and the search keeps trying in endless loop.
