[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1567565] Re: Permission error saving a file
Actually I think I found the file in question. /etc/appamor.d/usr.bin.evince. I changed the line as in #2, but the problem still remains for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1567565 Title: Permission error saving a file Status in evince package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: On Ubuntu 15.10, using evince 3.16.1-0ubuntu1, I fill out a PDF form. When I save the form, I get the message "Error renaming temporary file: Permission denied", and the file is not saved. I don't have permissions trouble in any other apps. The problem happens only when I'm using a filesystem that I mount in /mnt, and not for example in my home directory or in /tmp. Although I launch evince from the terminal, there are no unusual error messages printed there. However, journalctl shows a string of error messages (see attached log). This is the same problem I'm having in Xubuntu 16.04. @Alex D. I cannot find the file you mention anywhere, to edit it. Could you give me a heads up as to where to look. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1687019] Re: Cannot add a Google account using Online Accounts in Ubuntu Gnome
This is not just Ubuntu-Gnome, Unity is the same. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-online-accounts in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1687019 Title: Cannot add a Google account using Online Accounts in Ubuntu Gnome Status in gnome-online-accounts package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: With Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 (brand new 64bit install on a Dell XPS13 laptop), I cannot add a Google account using Online-Accounts. If I choose to add a new Google account in Online Accounts, a window appears where I can enter my Google email. After entering my email and pressing the Next button, a window appears where I can enter my Google password. After entering the password and pressing the Next button, an empty window appears and nothing else happens. I expected this to show something useful, and actually add the Google account to my Gnome environment. But the cursor is not displayed on the screen. i am using a lenovo W540 laptop. I downloaded the latest beta on april 8 2016. this is xubuntu using the xfce window manager. the cursor does return if i log off and log back in, but that actually defeats the purpose of going to sleep. --- ApportVersion: 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04 InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-04-08 (2 days ago) InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Beta amd64 (20160323) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia_uvm nvidia_modeset nvidia Package: light-locker 1.7.0-2ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-18.34-generic 4.4.6 Tags: xenial Uname: Linux 4.4.0-18-generic x86_64 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) UserGroups: _MarkForUpload: True To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1568604/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
