In fact, the application that is used in Ubuntu is called unity-
control-center although it is ~95% identical to gnome-control-center.

The corresponding catalog is on the end of the 14.04 catalog list, so
the message that was mentioned is not translated into Dutch:

  gnome-control-center does not appear fully translated, even though it
  is fully translated in launchpad. For example, the following string
  from the Appearance tab has been translated in launchpad since 2013,
  but still appears untranslated in an up to date install of trusty.

  One thing that might be related is the switch from gnome-control-center to

since gnome-control-center-unity is not installed on my system. However, 
gnome-control-center-unity is what is listed as the template to translate in 
launchpad.
  gnome-control-center also exists in launchpad, but it keeps timing out so I 
can't check the status of that string, see:

  I encountered this problem for Dutch, I'm not sure if it exists for

Fixed in 13.10 and reported to GNOME coordinator.

Will not be fixed for 13.04 as there is no language pack updates for

To Ihor Romanyshyn (iromanyshyn): Я попросив координатора перекладів
GNOME виправити цю помилку, і її було виправлено у основній гілці
перекладів. На жаль, у поточній Ubuntu не передбачено оновлення мовних
пакунків (Language Packs) для усіх основних версій. Тому оновлення до
нової версії Ubuntu (13.10) не буде.

Shortly in English: Fixed in upstream. No updates until 13.10.

To Yakubovsky Dmitriy(Якубовський Д.) (dmitriy-yakubovsky): Вам, як
перекладачу російською, слід би знати, що у української окрема команда,
свій список листування і свої канали виправлення (і навіть своя мова,
відмінна від російської). Писати до росіян для виправлення помилки в
українському перекладі так само безглуздо як писати до цієї системи
стеження за вадами. Виправляти помилки у GNOME слід у GNOME.
