[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1307648] Re: chromium 34 from proposed does not take input from keyboard in first entry point on several webpages

2014-04-23 Thread bisi
After entering in terminal "ibus exit", I'm able to type in here. All
keyboard commands work in Chromium, but absolutely no text entry.
Actually, occasionally after restarting Chromium, I can type one word.
After that, one letter (the first letter typed), or two letters (from
the middle of whatever I was typing.) Bad bug.

Title:
chromium 34 from proposed does not take input from keyboard in first
  entry point on several webpages

Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
To reproduce install chromium 34 from proposed with pepperflash. And
find a site that you input some text into like indeed.com or some
others. Then you hit the keys on the keyboard but no text is seen
  onscreen.

I expected the text to be entering into chroumium like it is on any
other browser. And for the text to be entered into the browser and
transfered ot the webpage I am submitting it to.

Instead it did not show up and indeed.com thought I did not enter anything
even though I pressed several keys on my keyboard.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1180297] Re: Opening facebook "Success" page in external browser

2013-06-01 Thread bisi
I tried comment #4...I might have done it pasted the code into the wrong
part of the script or something, but it broke my online accounts. When I
click on "Facebook", the window cycles immediately back to the same
condition as when I opened it and I receive a notification ("Some or all
of your applications can no longer access Onlive Accounts.")

Opening facebook "Success" page in external browser

Status in “gnome-control-center-signon” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I suppose these are the same symptoms as bug #1132030. Don't know
about the cause though - a lot of refactoring seems to have happened
  since then.

My FB authentication token has expired. Now, at a regular interval,
  UOA is opening a webpage
  (https://www.facebook.com/connect/blank.html#_=_) in Firefox. It says

  "Success
SECURITY WARNING: Please treat the URL above as you would your password and
do not share it with anyone.)"

The issue is also reproducable when attempting to add a new Facebook
  account.

  1. Open Online Accounts
  2. Click "Add account…"
  3. Select "Facebook"
  4. Observe that a window opens in the external browser, as above
