Text information and some graphics show artifacts (lines) cancelling the
text and makes typing almost impossible.  Would like to get a screenshot
but as soon as the focus goes to another window, the artifacts are
cleared.

Public bug reported:

Have been running Kubuntu 13.10 beta2 for 1 day now and have had 3
similar crashes that totally hang the machine.

Have not had any previous problems running 13.04.

Machine is an AMD64

Description:Ubuntu Saucy Salamander (development branch)
Release:13.10

Was not doing anything special, and in fact one crash happened while the
machine was idle overnight.
