[Desktop-packages] [Bug 871573] Re: Auto-join on connect checkbox does not behave like a checkbox
An alternative while waiting for this to be fixed is manually editing the ~/.xchat2/servlist_.conf file. Edit the J= line with all the autojoin channels that you want. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xchat-gnome in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/871573 Title: Auto-join on connect checkbox does not behave like a checkbox Status in “xchat-gnome” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Right-click on a channel name in the sidebar. 2. Select the Auto-join on connect checkbox. 3. Select it again. Expected behavior: -Checkbox becomes checked after Step 2 above. -Checkbox becomes unchecked after Step 3 above, resulting in the channel being removed from the auto-join list. Actual behavior: -Checkbox remains unchecked, although the channel is added to the auto-join list (as found in the Users and Channels tab of Network Properties). -For each additional click on the checkbox, a repeat entry is added to the auto-join list. Note: The next checkbox item in that context menu, Show join/part messages, works as expected. --Xubuntu 11.04 / xchat-gnome 1:0.26.1+git20101206.557c940-0ubuntu4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xchat-gnome/+bug/871573/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
