[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1576539] Re: package gconf2 3.2.6-3ubuntu6 failed to install/upgrade: dependency problems - leaving triggers unprocessed

2016-08-18 Thread golisp
To be honest, Ubuntu was working as expected. I had booted single user
mode, forced apt to finish configuration, forced to upgrade packages and
rebooted. After reboot was system back to life. But that is not work for
end user.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1584546] Re: firefox 46 crashed with SIGSEGV, PPC

2016-05-23 Thread golisp
Hello,
I'm also affected by this issue on PPC 32 with FF version
46.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.16.04.2. FF wont start, and it will crash with
"Segmentation fault (core dumped)". Previous version 45.0.2+build1-0ubuntu1,
but unattended upgrades are always forcing latest and non functional version to
my computer.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1429594] Re: Sound card in iBook G4 not detected in 14.04

2015-03-27 Thread golisp
I had checked history and found: There was migration of drivers from
snd-powermac to snd-aoa-*. So, there shall be easily added device #38
into snd-aoa-codec-tas. This had put sound card into live.

Patch is included as attachment.
