Click on trash can either desktop or via Thunar side bar and Thunar manager locks. Eventually force close window pops up. Public bug reported: I update to Liferea 1.8.10 in raring ringtail this morning and it icon is missing in the area notification. I don't have the message menu installed and I uncheck to use it in the settings of Liferea.
