Bug description:
  Clean install of 13.10 beta2 64bit Xubuntu

New user home folder created at install.

Previous home folder was renamed to david-old before install of 13.10

Deleting files from this old home folder from previous install and
copying files I want to keep to the new home folder.

Click on trash can either desktop or via Thunar side bar and Thunar

 Title:
After loading the latest update today, the web browser will not launch

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
   Invalid

 Bug description:
   Binary package hint: synaptic

After I ran Update Manager and it installed the latest updates, my
browser has either disappeared or fails to work.

The command executed to launch the browser is: abrowser %u

When I try to launch the browser, the following errors comes up:
   Could not launch menu item
Failed to execute child process abrowser (No such file or directory)

Using Gnome desktop version 2.22.3 originally installed by Dell

Using Ubuntu version 8.0.4. Would like to upgrade to a newer version,
but don't know how. I hoped the System Update Manager would do that
   automatically and keep me current.

Please help as my netbook is my primary internet tool.

   Thanks -

   Ed Kura
