[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1442593] Re: Click on nautilu's icons and open a new icons for Files

2015-04-13 Thread martincasc
No problem Sebastien. As I've said, the issue seems to be solved. Maybe
some outdated packages. Since my last coment (friday 10) the problem
it's solved. :)

I've installed 2 times the beta 2. And in both installations I could
reproduce the bug. But after the upgrade avrething works pretty fine.-

While I had reported the bug, it was gone "just like that". However
after reinstalling Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits, nautilus froze recently and from
there the bug reappeared.-

Bug description:
Sometimes left clicking the nautilus launcher icon doesn't bring up a
minimized nautilus window. Instead of restoring the window a new
instance of nautilus is showing up.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a nautilus window by clicking on the launcher icon.
  2. Navigate to a symlinked directory whose target is located on a different
harddrive (for example: a symlink to a folder on a sd-card).
  3. Minimize the nautilus window.
  4. Try to bring up that window again by clicking the launcher icon.

  What happens:

  1. A new instance (window) of nautilus is opened.
  2. There's no obvious way to access the first window again. The only way is
ALT+TAB.

  What schould happen:

If a nautilus window is already open and minimized clicking the
launcher icon should bring up that window. This was the behavior of
nautilus windows in Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal).

situation, when we have new unreaded twitts, a number came up in it's

The normal behaviour must be that when we focus gwibber that number
should be 0, should be gone; but it doesn't. Actually if I have select
the Home icon in Gwibber and focus it, the number indicator doesn't
go, I have to click on the message icon and then the number goes. If I
am in the message icon, have to click on the home icon and the number
  goes.

BTW, don't understand the difference between home icon and messages
icon, both shows user same thing.

Sorry, don't know the right names, so I attached a png.

Bug description:
Look at the attached image. What I've done is, I've first opened the
New Tweet box, closed it after a few seconds, and then opened it again
after a second or two (its open at the time of taking the screenshot).
Now look at Gnome-system-monitor in the same screen shot. Its clear
that during the first duration when the box was opened, CPU usage of a
core went around 75% up (the orange line), and it also took usage of a
core half-up (the red line). Closing the box then brings usage back to
  normal.

The CPU sport happens without the need to type anything into the box.
Just opening it increases the CPU usage, and it isn't clearly evident
what Gwibber is trying to do in the background, since nothing in the
  gwibber window changes.

  Steps to reproduce:
  1) Open Gwibber
  2) Open Gnome-system-monitor
  3) Click the new tweet button at the top right in the gwibber window.
  4) See CPU usage rise up.

  Expected result:
CPU usage shouldn't stay risen when the box is open.

  Actual result:
Just opening the box up brings the CPU usage up, and it doesn't come down
until the box is closed.

Title:
Gwibber launcher, unread it messages indicator doesn't delete

Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When we have Gwibber open it's icon came up to the launcher; in that
situation, when we have new unreaded twitts, a number came up in it's
  icon.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 871729] [NEW] Gwibber launcher, unread it messages indicator doesn't delete

2011-10-10 Thread martincasc
Public bug reported:

When we have Gwibber open it's icon came up to the launcher; in that
situation, when we have new unreaded twitts, a number came up in it's
icon.

The normal behaviour must be that when we focus gwibber that number
should be 0, should be gone; but it doesn't. Actually if I have select
the Home icon in Gwibber and focus it, the number indicator doesn't go,
I have to click on the message icon and then the number goes. If I am in
the message icon, have to click on the home icon and the number goes.

BTW, don't understand the difference between home icon and messages
icon, both shows user same thing.

Sorry, don't know the right names, so I attached a png.
