Title:
Copy and Paste not Working in 15.04

Status in remmina:
  New
Status in remmina package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Remmina is probably one of the top 3 Linux applications "I need
working right" to efficiently complete my work day.

So, I consider it a critical bug that "copy and pasting" between
"local and remote desktops" is not working in the 15.04 beta 2.

This is one of those things, where if this is not fixed, I will have
to return to Ubuntu 14.04, or figure out a way to install a version of
Remmina that actually works correctly in 15.04.

This bug has reared its ugly head before:
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/remmina/+bug/937522

However, the status of that bug seems to be practically closed, so
that's the reason for this new posting. I want to do all I can to get
this bug the attention it needs. Remmina is crucial for my work.

I'm currently dealing with the fact that it crashes a few times a day,
but this "copy and paste not working" is a real deal-breaker for me to
  stay on 15.04.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1158089] Re: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1 flooding kernel log with errors

2013-04-11 Thread max5555
The same problem in Ubuntu 12.04 with bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1

There is a solution proposed here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/923809/comments/22
but I have no idea how to apply the patch.

Title:
bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1 flooding kernel log with errors

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Release: Raring Ringtail (development branch) 13.04 (kubuntu)
  Package Version: 6.20.155.1

Kernel Log is flooded with the following errors while a WLAN connection is
active (about 5-10 per second):
kernel[ 119.626150] ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get
rate (-1)
kernel[ 119.626153] ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get
rssi (-1)

WLAN Card is Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN
  Controller [14e4:4727]

As the default driver used for that card doesnt work well for me i
blacklisted brcmsmac and use the bcmwl-kernel-source
see thread about the problem i had a while back with that if it helps:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=12321873#post12321873

I have two systems installed, 12.10 for productive use and the 13.04 for
testing around.
As it is working without those errors in 12.10 i uninnstalled
bcmwl-kernel-source and replaced with 5.100.82.112 version from 12.10
Errors then do not appear again, so id guess its a problem with the new
version of bcmwl-kernel-source
