[Desktop-packages] [Bug 850229] Re: Unread email count in thunderbird shown wrongly in messaging menu and launcher icon

2017-01-26 Thread mihai.ile
Using ubuntu 16.10 and I am left with the unread emails counter by having a
filter which marks incoming mail as read and sends it to trash (using some
criteria).
The counter is not reset despite not having any unread email in inbox.
I noticed that it resets sometimes if I receive an email that is not filtered
and then read that email. Somehow this triggers something and the unread count
works again.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1335159] Re: System Setting -> Network -> Network Proxy it isn't possible to define proxy exceptions

2017-01-19 Thread mihai.ile
Searching for adding proxy exceptions on the net lead me to the
attatched image, so I would assume that the actual application is
capable of displaying the proxy exceptions but it is not a ubuntu
screensot so it may be a matter of configuration of the network
application?

Title:
System Setting -> Network -> Network Proxy it isn't possible to define
  proxy exceptions

Status in unity-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Hi all,

  in Ubuntu 14.04
System Setting -> Network -> Network Proxy it isn't possible to define proxy
exceptions.

It has to be possible to define proxy exceptions in following way IP,
IP Networks, Domains (e.g. .launchpad.net, 192.168.0.0/24) to make
sure that internal company networks can be reached. Because if they
are also routed over the proxy, connection is not possible. Because
proxy is only used to reach the external IP world.

Would be really good if you could make this possible :)

  Regards

  Marko Weiß
