Same Problem for me also. I am using
Release 12.04 (precise) 32-bit
Kernel Linux 3.2.0-24-generic-pae
GNOME 3.4.1
First, on starting the copy, it will show progress. When we highlight some
other folder and then try to check the progress, we cannot bring it back in
screen, without closing all opened folders.

Hi all.
I'm booting my USB with Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2 (build 14/April/2012).
I booted to copy several folders from one partition to another (done
right), the problem is that you can't see the copy dialog progress. In
the left bar you see it copying but I tried HARD to make it visible,
including Alt-Tab, right click--> Show progress, Super-TAB, etc. So I
had to wait until finished just looking the progress in the small
icon.
