[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1290217] Re: The overwriting error message was: Key file does not have group 'connectivity'
As oft today, I also have the issue. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1180996] Re: User has unlisted Brother HL-2135 non-PS, system-config-printer selects HL-2140 PS printer
I just hit this bug and manually selecting the 2035 driver fixed this for me, too. Working with Gnome Shell and its featureless printer configuration I had to add the printer via /usr/bin/system-config- printer So as manually selecting is quite a pain, I want to ask: Is there a fix planned for this? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to foomatic-db in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180996 Title: User has unlisted Brother HL-2135 non-PS, system-config-printer selects HL-2140 PS printer Status in “foomatic-db” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: I use Ubuntu 13.04 and a printer Brother HL-2135W. Before in Ubuntu 12.10, it worked fine. In a new computer, I installed the last version of Ubuntu and I tried to install printer again with system-config-printer aplication. It recommend to me to install drivers for printer HL-2140, but when I tried to print one page, it printed a lot of white pages. I tried to change the printer and if I use the drivers for the printer Brother HL-2035, it works.
