in the latest version of Ubuntu - Precise Pangolin.

  But if we use:
  sudo gnome-system-monitor
  it'll rum formally.

Problem dissapears after release upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 precise with
verison 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 of gnome-system-monitor!
