Could you add your .xsession-errors as requested before? did you try to press the mouse button for some seconds to start the move? ** Package changed: nautilus (Ubuntu) = unity (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019531 Title: Can't move icon's position on the Launcher Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Version 12.04. The Launcher is supposed to allow you to move apps up and down the list by simply dragging the icon off the Launcher, and then dragging it back on at the desired position. closing the bug then, if the drag on the side is not working you likely use unity-2d which doesn't support that feature ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1019531] Re: Can't move icon's position on the Launcher
This is not about Nautilus - sorry fo r the confusion. This is about the Launcher and the Dash. I can drag an icon from the Dash to the Luncher, and I can lock an icon that is currently running on the Launcher. But I cannot move icons up or down the order in the Launcher. It is supposed to be possible to re-order icons on the Launcher in this way, but it does not work! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019531 Title: Can't move icon's position on the Launcher Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Version 12.04.
