[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1037167] Re: Rhythmbox DAAP Server doesn't work with iTunes 9.2.1 for PPC as client
[Expired for rhythmbox (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.] ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1037167 Title: Rhythmbox DAAP Server doesn't work with iTunes 9.2.1 for PPC as client Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Using Rhythmbox 2.96 as a DAAP server with iTunes 9.2.1 for PPC (on OSX 10.4) doesn't work: The share-name is shown in iTunes, but selecting it doesn't establish a connection: no "mount" symbol, no display of shared song. (using rhythmbox as a client works.) It can't at least be only an iTunes problem, as Tangerine as a Server + the exact same iTunes as a client works without any problems. (And this particular version of iTunes is important, as it is the most reason version for the Power PC (PPC) architecture on OSX 10.4.)
