Just upgraded (10/10/2012) and my lo-menubar package has been removed. Now I don't have any more menus in LibreOffice. I have the same, after ugrade and LibreOffice 3.6.2.2. I have found a workaround which works 90% of the time : just press twice F7, once for opening the check Spelling window and again to close it. Bug still exist with kernel 3.5.0-15 and after system update up to 9/21 (after Beta 2 freeze). I confirm what wrote Shanekiper, whic is that when I sudo apt-get remove libreoffice-gtk then, I can use the Libreoffice in a windows like design. When I re- install it (actually libreoffice-gtk 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu5 ) then the bug re-appears. Along with it seems another bug: selecting text on screen (on Writer) to cut or copy is instable. The selection usually vanish before I have a chance to Ctrl-C. In the windows like environment the behaviour is normal. I have this issue on my 64 bit 12.10 (LO 3.6.1.2). Very inconsistent - I cannot seem to find any cause at all.
