2012-11-05 Thread Chris Hermansen
Christopher, thank you for that information.

Do you, or does anyone, know if the 3.6.2 daily will replace 3.6.2-RC2
release in 12.10? and if so, when?

Thanks in advance!

Re: [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1064616] Re: insert columns with right shift causes calc to crash

2012-10-12 Thread Chris Hermansen
Just checking this out further, and the version I have installed as of
right now (everything updated) is

clh@valencia:~$ sudo apt-cache policy libreoffice-calc
libreoffice-calc:
  Installed: 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal/main i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

This version, which appears newer than the one Christopher notes
below, still kacks on the test file I uploaded when I reported this
bug.

2012-10-09 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Chris Hermansen, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and
helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an
upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the
bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions
verbatim at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have
done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so
we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about the status. Thanks in
advance.

Helpful Bug Reporting Link:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_Reporting_Etiquette

Marking Triaged as problem consistently reproducible as per crash report
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1064689 .
Will mark it duplicate of this after Apport retracing service processes
it.
