It is not the same issue. The issue reported upstream is resolved in newest
upstream release. The issue you are reporting is distinctly different, and
reproducible in newest release:
Microsoft Windows Vista Business x86
6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002
Version 4.0.0.0.beta2 (Build ID: 4104d660979c57e1160b5135634f732918460a0)

I didn't do it, but it appears someone reported the same bug already to
upstream, as NoOp reported above. I've looked at it and it seems to be
the same issue.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1077361] Re: Saving as RTF messes with page 1

2012-12-23 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Kevin O'Gorman, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and
helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an
upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the
bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions
verbatim at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have
done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so
we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about the status. Thanks in
advance.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1077361] Re: Saving as RTF messes with page 1

2012-11-12 Thread NoOp
FWIW: Apache OpenOffice 3.5:
AOO350m1(Build:9610) - Rev. 1373721
2012-08-16_04:25:33-Rev.1373730
and
Abiword 2.9.2+svn20120213-1
do exactly the same as Ubuntu LO 3.5.4-0ubuntu1.1 (insert a page break
following 'would be essentially the same.')

Side note: LO 3.6.x & LO 3.5.6.x (original LibreOffice versions - linux
& Windows) corrupt the rtf file completely using Save or SaveAs.
