[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1118328] Re: [Regression] Libreoffice 3.5.7 could not read PDF Hybrid

2013-02-07 Thread Mozaic
I confirm that the bug is resolved if you add the package libreoffice-
pdfimport 1.0.5+LibO3.5.7-0ubuntu4

I don't know it was an extension, i thank it's LibreOffice core's
function.

In LibreOffice 4.0, PDF import will be inside the core:

Sorry for the noise

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1118328] Re: [Regression] Libreoffice 3.5.7 could not read PDF Hybrid

2013-02-07 Thread Bryan Quigley
Upstream looks like they may have merged pdfimport to not be a seperate
package.Ubuntu's LO 3.5.4 worked fine once pdfimport was installed.

Since one of the default features now depends on it, should Ubuntu do
the same and include pdfimport by default?

2013-02-07 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for your bug report, is libreoffice a pdf viewer? Trying to
open the pdf you added to comment #2, on current raring, from the
libreoffice start screen: it opens the document in libreoffice calc as
a table of weird chars...
