[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1131702] Re: [HuronRiver Platform, Realtek ALC272, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all
The next time the sounds fails, try to restart pulseaudio using the following command: pulseaudio -k ^If that command restores audio, then a pulseaudio log may help: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log If the command doesn't work, use the following command to reload the sound module/driver (should be faster/easier than restarting entire system): sudo alsa force-reload -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1131702 Title: [HuronRiver Platform, Realtek ALC272, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The sound stops working all of a sudden. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1131702] Re: [HuronRiver Platform, Realtek ALC272, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all
I have the same problem. Restarting pulseaudio or reload of alsa (as suggested) does not help. Restarting make it works again, but only for a short while until it stops (again). I've tested with the "stock" 13.04 x64 kernel, and 3.9. No difference. Audio worked fine on the 12.10 system I upgraded from. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1131702 Title: [HuronRiver Platform, Realtek ALC272, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The sound stops working all of a sudden.
