Public bug reported: I can successfully add email addresses to a Contact List using the "Select ..." dialog box.
An apparently simpler way to add an email list is to double-click on the name of the Contact List, and enter the email in the box labeled "Type an e-mail address or drag a Contact into the list below:" When I add an email addres this way, it appears to add correctly. But when I re-open the Contact List, I see an entry that consists of garbage characters. If I try to send an email to such an email list, I get an error message. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1155460 Title: Problem adding email addresses to Contact List Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I can successfully add email addresses to a Contact List using the "Select ..." dialog box.
