  LibreOffice simply doesn't launch. It looks like this bug is related
  to Ubuntu 13.04 greek locale problem (Invalid UTF-8)  -- link:

  This is how to re-produce:

  Unfortunately, I can't launch any instance of LibreOffice in Ubuntu

It is the same with hungarian dates.

/usr/bin> ls -l libreoffice
ls: error initializing month strings
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 34 m�rc 25 10:22 libreoffice -> 
../lib/libreoffice/program/soffice

Many scripts use ls -l, and all scripts fail parsing the output.

I'm getting this error as well, but LibreOffice actually does start
despite the error being displayed in the console.

But when I try to run 'ls -l' in konsole I get this error and no output
from the command. Is there any workaround?
