[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1165745] Re: Cannot access/change Ibus preferences on Ubuntu Raring
** Changed in: ibus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to ibus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1165745 Title: Cannot access/change Ibus preferences on Ubuntu Raring Status in “ibus” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Using 13.04 live image from 2013 April, 07. ibus 1.4.2-0ubuntu2 I configured Language preferences as usual (English as main language and Japanese input using ibus) on a fresh install of Ubuntu 13.04. I started up Ibus and the keyboard icon appeared on the panel. What you expect to happen: If you click on the icon a menu comes up with the options of "preferences", "about", "restart" and "quit".I can access all of those options except for preferences, which means I cannot change ibus to set up Japanese input. I already tried restarting the computer, restarting automatically only ibus, quit and restart manually. What happens instead. I click on "preferences" option and nothing changes or nothing is activated. This means I cannot set up Japanese input . [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1165745] Re: Cannot access/change Ibus preferences on Ubuntu Raring
After the latest update, I still cannot setup ibus. I used the terminal and tried ibus-setup command and I got the following output: (process:7076): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library. Using the fallback 'C' locale.
