If I connect the headphones, sounds perfectly headphone, if unplugged no sound in internal speaker. The rest of the components, internal and external microphone and HDMI Sound run smoothly. Sound speaker and headphone: Windows 8: Ok Ubuntu 12.10, 13.04: Speaker off, headphone on Linux Mint 13, 14: Speaker off, headphone on SolusOS 1.3: Speaker off, headphone on All step for check alsa and pulse setting done. Try with lenovo, ideapad, toshiba, etc. in snd_hda_intel. Solution: Purchase a external speaker for Linux Mint 14 use. ALSA project should improve.
