Bug description:
  Creative X-Fi USB seems not to be detected correctly. First time
  there's no possiblity to change output type to 5.1 (no menu in control
  center). After detaching and hooking up again it was not there. The
  third time I was able to detect it.

  It might be something to do with kernel.

Actually, I've found with a couple of USB audio devices that digital
output modes (all that are not simple analog) are often missing. Does
that sound like the same issue?

Issue persists in 17.04. Propably wrong driver reinitialization.

Bug description:
  Creative X-Fi USB seems not to be detected correctly. First time
  there's no possiblity to change output type to 5.1 (no menu in control
  center). After detaching and hooking up again it was not there. The
  third time I was able to detect it.

  It might be something to do with kernel.
