Sending a report via Launchpad you have already done, this bug report. Any further information you add by posting a comment to this bug report. Terminal output you simply paste into the comments, log files, input and output files, ... you attach to the bug report. Click Add attachment or patch near the bottom. On the page appearing then, fill in the fields near the bottom, add optionally a comment and submit. Repeat this procedure if you have more than one file to attach. The print queue names are displayed on your screen when you run the command lpstat -v, right after device for. Replace all occurrences of queue by the print queue name. OK, not the best or most modern, but it did work [after MUCH work! - hours of] in Ubuntu 11.04. Since I've upgraded to 12.04.2 [a few months ago] I have been UNABLE to find a fix. I see many suggested on the internet, but they either are for other Cannon models, too complex for me to figure out what is being suggested, or don't work. it is a real pain to have to reboot to Windoz to print something! Any pointers on how to solve this problem or new updates on Ubuntu's end would be most appreciated. The printer is recognized and scans finebut every print job just winds up in the print que forever. I fear I don't know how to even send report via Launchpad, I've never done so before and just looked at the 'documentation', which left me greatly confused.
