I see the same error but however my screen works fine. The only problem i have sometimes is the Low Graphics Mode, which goes away on restarting most of the times. The main problem happens when it does not go away i.e until i completely remove my amd proprietary drivers. just happened to me on trusty and the apport retracer duped my report to this ticket.
